Purdon's is committed to protecting your privacy and to providing you the most reliable and secure online experience. In most cases, while browsing at purdonrental.com you will not be asked to provide any information about yourself. Unless you provide any information, we are only able to observe your IP address. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this statement of privacy addresses those situations.

Collecting Information

In order to provide service to you, you may be asked to provide information that will help us identify you as a customer and for other more obvious reasons, such as needing shipping information, etc. This information may be requested when making a purchase, entering a promotion, or when requesting support. For example, if you purchase products for shipment at purdonrental.com, we will need to share your name, address and telephone number with United Parcel Service in order to fulfill your shipping request. Purdon's will NOT share your information with third parties except as needed to fulfill a service request.

Purdon's works diligently to protect your personal information. Your personal information is never shared outside of the company except under the conditions detailed above. Only authorized personnel have access to a limited amount of customer information as needed to perform their jobs.

Use of Cookies

Once a visitor to purdonrental.com adds an item to their cart, a Session ID is created that requires a cookie be set on the visitors machine. A cookie is a simple piece of text. It is not a program, or a plug-in. It cannot be used as a virus, and it cannot access your hard drive. Your browser (not a programmer) can save cookie values to your hard disk if it needs to, but that is the limit of the effect on your system.

We implement cookies for the purpose of matching a shopper with the items in their cart and for determining which ad campaign generated their visit. No other information about a visitor is stored, and a visitor always reserves the right to delete our cookie manualy or simply refuse it.
